while i was going through my cabinet, i remembered i had bought a small charcoal cooker. how come i've never used this before??
so, we placed it on our dinner table and cooked some smelt and salmon over charcoal. you know how things taste even better when cooked over charcoal?? well that was what we got!!

+egg plant with natto (fermented soy beans) and pickled nozawana
+ナスの納豆のざわ菜味噌炒め(野沢菜は以前自分で漬けたもの)
+shishito pepper with garlic... this is one of my favorite dishes.. really easy but real tastey!
+しし唐のたいたん(ガーリックコンソメ風味)・・・私の大好きなおかずの一つ。ちょ~簡単だけど美味しいんです♪
+chinese cabbage and pork in soup...another easy dish but something to make you warm
+白菜と豚肉のスープ煮・・・こちらも簡単なお料理だけどとっても温まります
+salmon bebbed in amazake (sweet fermented rice drink) miso and smelt...although i prepared some amazake for my hubby, he wasn't so fancied by them so i decided to bed some salmon in them. a hint of sweetness from the amazake tasted very nice^^
+black bean rice
+鮭の甘酒漬けとシシャモ・・・my hubbyに甘酒を作ってみたけどあまり興味を示さず。なので鮭を漬けてみました。甘酒のかすかな甘みが美味しかった^^
